This mid-size three-row crossover SUV boasts a 2.5L turbo engine, coupled to an 8-speed transmission and with all-wheel drive as standard on all models. Offering 328hp and 326lb-ft of torque, it can tow up to 5,000lbs and offers an improved fuel economy of up to 27mpg on the highway.

The Traverse comes with so many high-spec features as standard that in 2025 the base trim is now a luxury touring model. But as well as the LT, you can choose from the sporty RS or the premium High County models. And if you’d rather go off the beaten track, the rugged ZR1 comes fitted with twin-clutch AWD and suspension dampers to make sure you’re off-road-ready.

With everyone along for the ride, you’ll be glad to know that the Traverse also has enough infotainment options to keep all your passengers happy. The huge 17.7-inch multimedia touchscreen comes as standard on all models, with Google built-in compatibility giving you access to essential apps such as Google Maps and Google Play. All models feature USB ports at the front and rear, and are WIFI-hotspot capable.
